What The App Does

ים עכשיו helps users view beach flag status, wave and surf information, weather, UV index, air quality, jellyfish references, Home Front Command links, favorite beaches, and the beach status widget.

Location Permission

The app asks for location permission only to find the nearest beach while the app is in use.

If location does not work, open iPhone Settings, find ים עכשיו, open Location, and select “While Using the App”.

Safety

ים עכשיו is not an emergency alert app and does not replace official instructions. For current safety instructions, always check official government sources.

Backend Status

If beach data does not update, the backend or network connection may be temporarily unavailable. Try refreshing again after a short time.
